The 8oz jar has 8 servings, each serving contains two tablespoons. 1 serving has 20 calories, x 8 means that there are 160 calories in the entire jar. The 16oz has 16 servings 320 calories for the whole jar.

We personally go down twice a year to St Lucia and meet the people who harvest the sea moss.
How should I store the sea moss?
You should refrigerate the gels as soon as you receive them. In the summer months the gel might arrive at room temp. If you put it in the refrigerator, the sea moss will gel overnight, and then it can be stored for up to 4 weeks in the refrigerator or for up to a year in the freezer. Our Jars are also safe to store in the freezer, so you don't have to worry about them breaking.

The gels we send are shipped along with ice packs and sufficient bubble wrap to ensure that they are sufficiently cushioned and prevented from overeating during shipping.
